FROM THE FOUNDER
I built Utasking for the version of myself who was just starting out.
I saw two problems that should not exist. As a professional, I experienced platforms that charged for leads whether they became real jobs or not. At the same time, as a customer, I noticed how difficult it was to find trusted people for the services we actually use today—photographers, private chefs, makeup artists, organizers, beauty professionals, and many others.
Therefore, I wanted to create a local services marketplace where independent professionals could clearly showcase their services, keep control of their business, and connect directly with local clients. I also wanted clients to have more information before reaching out, including services, portfolios, starting prices, reviews, and important details in one place.
Today, Utasking continues to grow with the same mission: helping people discover trusted local professionals while giving independent professionals a better way to build their business and connect with clients in their community.
